Settling Family Law Cases since 1989

Why clients prefer Online Mediation:

  • Convenient: From the comfort of your home or office, meet with attorneys and case managers to work out the issues of your case. In real time, share and edit drafts and documents relevant to your case and needed to finalize your divorce. The mediators can meet online with the parties together or one-on-one.
  • Cost Effective: The cost of a typical litigated divorce is many tens of thousands of dollars. It's a lot of work both for the law firms and the parties going through it. It doesn't have to be that way. Many mediations can be completed for less than $1,000*.
  • Comfortable: Divorce Court is a hostile environment. Parties often spend an entire day without their case being called and are told to come back. With online mediation you can be in your most comfortable environment, with your trusted advisors present if necessary. Contact with your ex-spouse can be limited if it makes either party more comfortable.
* Filing fees paid to the court are additional.

Settle your divorce quickly and efficiently with CalDisso Online Mediation.

Initial Meeting
Both parties will meet online with an attorney/mediator (together or one-on-one) to discuss the divorce process and issues which are unique to your case. This cost of this meeting is $200. This will give you a sense of whether the mediation process is right for your case.

Case Manager Meeting
Both parties will meet individually with a Case Manager who will help prepare the initial court filings and the disclosure documents. These files must be exchanged by both parties before any agreement can be made.

The Mediation
Both parties will meet online with the attorney/mediator (together or one-on-one) who will facilitate the sharing of documents, support calculations, and prepare an Agreement or a Judgment in real time. The Mediation sessions will typically last between 1-3 hours.

Process Paperwork
Once an agreement has been reached, the case manager will facilitate the processing of all of the documents necessary to finalize the divorce.
